OVERVIEW:

This workshop is a perfect mix of technical, creative and practical knowledge and skills on maternity photography, studio lighting and retouching techniques.

WHAT YOU LEARN:

• Client experience

• Styling

• Nadia’s favorite studio equipment, plugins, actions and go-to set-ups (Nadia will provide you with links to purchase plugins and actions if you like them)

• Advise on mobile applications useful for creating content for social medias 

• Camera settings and techniques of getting beautiful images

• How to create a variety of stunning images by using a simple one-light and two-light set ups

• Artistic silhouettes (high-key and low-key lighting)

• Posing

• How to work with fabrics, draping techniques and capturing movement

• Q&A on Marketing and Pricing

• Editing workflow and how to transform the images into works of art (editing videos will be available 1 weeks after the class and you can watch them at your own pace.)

INCLUDED:

• Photo shooting with 1-2 pregnancy models

• Shooting alongside Nadia + creative new images for your portfolio.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Camera

• Lens:  50mm, 85 mm, 24-70 mm or other with similar focal lenght (please make sure your lens is sharp before the workshop)

• Memory cards

• Battery / camera charger

• Notepad and pen provided

• Laptop

*If you don't have a camera, lens or laptop yet and you need recommendations on what equipment to purchase, you can still attend the workshop. You will get an advice and prices on that.

PROGRAM:
PART 1  INTRODUCTION (10:00 – 13 :00)

• Camera settings

• Photo studio equipment (strobe lights, Vflats, backgrounds etc), advice where to buy and prices

• Photoshop plugins and actions introduction, advice where to buy and prices

• Basic outfits demonstration, advice on where to buy and prices
   

LUNCH BREAK (12:30 – 13:30) hosted by Nadia (food & drinks included)

PART 2 PHOTOSHOOTING (13 :30 – 16:30)

• Photoshoot with one or two models and at least 6 different lighting set ups

 

PART 3 FINALIZING (16:30 - 18:00)

• Questions & answers

• Learning how to select best pictures 

 

PART 4 RETOUCHING  (in 2 weeks) ONLINE CALL ( 10:00 – 12:00) & (13 :00 – 15:00)

• Analyzing photoshop retouching techniques based on previously sent editing process made by Nadia and photos retouched by your own 

• Revealing mistakes

• Questions and answers

IMAGE USAGE: 
All images taken can be used in your portfolio (website and online). Images must not be submitted to magazines, exhibitions or competitions without permission. Images must not be used to advertise photo shoots, workshops or products.

CANCELLATION:
If you need to cancel your workshop you can choose to reschedule for a future date. Workshop Deposit and full payment is non-refundable.

 

TRAVEL AND LODGING:
Attendees are responsible for their own lodging and travel to and from the workshop. After registering, we will provide recommended accommodations and travel information.
